David,
That looks rather familiar. I understand we do that at least 3 to 4 times a summer so it keeps them away as much as possible. We are probably going to be doing it at least one more time.

David,
You are absolutely correct. The best time to spray is early in the mornin or late in the afternoon when all "pest" are home. Boo
Here in Texas we close the windows of our blinds the last time we hunt the blind for the season and do not open them till the week before season opens. You have no idea how much that helps keep the wasps away.

We sprayed several of our box stands today over near Cedar Rock. Also controlled burned our food plots, getting ready to plant after labor day. Good afternoon showers/storms. Wasps are definitely on our hit list.

Looks like you had fun David. Way to kill them bees!! One Year we had a hornets nest about 10 yards from our tree stands and opening day we took our hornet killer and it didnt end so well..good tip for everyone make sure you check everything
Ditto from Ohio
Growing up hunting in Texas we routinely sprayed our blinds for wasps and black widows. One interesting factor I consistently found to be true was that every blind either had a wasp nest or a black widow, but never both. Also in order to keep away from the scent of wasp spray I use a regular hand spray bottle and fill it with a small amount of liquid dishwashing soap and water. You might think it sounds crazy but it knocks them down instantly. Just make sure the bottle shoots a long stream. And the good thing is you can was your hands with the spray once your done working!
Thanks for the blog!
