Well, you’ve probably eaten as much as I have. Watched some football. DEFINITELY took the time to do a little hunting. I hope your Christmas was very special. With lots of Blessings. Merry Christmas again.
I’d like to list some things that I’m thankful for:
Friends that refuse to allow a buck to ruin their relationship. There seems to be an epidemic in our industry (and I’m sure not only with “professional hunters”) of people who have come to believe that killing a buck or even hunting a buck is more important than friendships. My oh my. If you only knew.
Hunters on television and DVDs who are thankful for their kill and don’t feel like they’ve got to apologize for shooting a smaller buck on the last day of the hunt.
“Well, he’s not what I was hoping for…”.
People who can genuinely laugh at themselves and their mistakes.
A cool breeze in my face that doesn’t swirl.
A snooze button.
Hunters who leave their photos at home because they’re more interested in looking at others’ photos and hearing others’ stories.
The people I work with everyday that make me laugh.
Dropping my son, Lucas, off at school and hearing an “I love you Dad” before he closes the door.
A physical game of “One on One” basketball in the driveway with Harman or Alex.
Being able to sit and watch them battle it out...in the loser’s bracket!
A hug from Ginger when I get home from work.
The Weather Channel.

Ok David here's my Thankful List:
1. Getting to surround myself with family and friends who's glasses are always half full. (And No i'm not talking about hanging out in a barroom)
2. Getting up every morning at 46yrs. old but feeling like i'm 25.
3. Having the pleasure to spend time and occasionally make a hunt with people like Roger Culpepper. He's one first class guy.(ok so i exaggerated a little on the first class part)
4. Spending any 1 on 1 time with my wife and kids.
5. Listening and watching people who always get excited when telling me about their hunt.(No matter what their age)
6. Listening to the older generation tell me about " How it use to be"
7. Coming into the office and enjoying the people who have the TEAM concept in getting things done. (aka: My Dear Friend Shelly Moore)
8. Getting to talk to or my Mom everyday.
9. And Finally... Going to bed everynight with a Soft Heart and a Gentle Mind... and waking up the same way.

I'm thankful to see the real importance in life; through experiences in life and outdoors. Knowing that there is a God who sent his son to save us from all the world throws at us.
Thankful to know that when I miss a good buck, that it's just a deer in the end and will all be a wash.
Thankful for a loving wife and two little girls that are all active in church.
Thankful that I have been in hunting clubs in the past and knowing how to overcome situations with God's grace and be a solid witness when the time is right.
Thankful to enter hunting camps, lodges and know that I'm blessed to be there and able to enjoy all the beauty of a true hunt for all the right reasons. Example a couple years ago in Kansas, really windy no deer movement, but was able to appreciate God's beautiful sunset.
Thankful that you David are the person you are and others at Realtree. Doing what we all love and being a great example to the world. That's why since 1986 I have always and only support Realtree. Thank you! Craig Dilbeck
