Our television and video production team has been extremely busy since the end of deer season compiling, organizing, proofing and logging potential hunts for the upcoming Monster Bucks DVD. Every year it seems that we acquire more and more hunts.
But this is not a bad thing! Believe me, we want to produce the absolute best DVD that your money can buy so when you open a catalog to order or walk into a store to buy one of the latest releases of hunting videos, you feel like, after reading the caption or reviewing the front and back covers, the BEST value is either MONSTER BUCKS or MONSTER BULLS if you’re looking to buy an elk hunting DVD.
Take our newest Monster Bucks for example. We have received nearly 80 hunts for the upcoming two volumes! Incredible!
Our own Realtree cameras captured nearly 60 of these hunts while the other 20 have been sent in by our pro-staff members, shows we sponsor, partners in the hunting industry or just plain ol’ friends who would love to see themselves on Monster Bucks!
Here’s the bad news, but not for you the consumer; as a matter of fact, our customers come out winning big time! Why?
The more hunts we have to choose from, the higher the bar is raised! In other words, it’s tougher to make the final cut. There will be roughly 30 hunts deemed “not good enough” for a variety of reasons: shaky footage, low light, bad shot, etc.
So here are the final numbers (approximately) for Monster Bucks Vol. 1 & 2:
46 hunts
25 bowhunts
Hunts from 10 states plus Alberta!
3 bucks over 200!
23 bucks over 150”!
The largest wild buck ever taken on professional video with a bow and arrow, over 230”!
Could this be the best Monster Buck of all time? We think so.
I'll let you know when it hits the shelves and the Realstore.

When will they be available in stores?
I cant wait to see how Team Realtree did in the 07 Season.
Hey David
Man I can't wait for the new Monster Bucks DVDs to come out. I try to get them each year and they get better and better. Look forward to getting the new Monster Bucks DVDs. I hope one day I can be on Monster Bucks too. Talk to ya later.
God Bless & Good Huntin'

PS Turkey season is just around the corner. How was the SHOT show?
Hey David,
Sounds great! Man you have one of the best jobs in the world! I can hear it now, "Honey, work today was tough! I had to watch edited video of 60 deer hunts today. I am having trouble deciding which videos make the cut, so I am going to have to watch them over and over again." When your hard days at the office sound like that, you have got it in the bag! lol
I am glad to hear that the number of states hunted is a feature that you guys are promoting. I know a lot of hunters take a lot of pride in the state that they hunt in. I know I do. When Micheal Waddell had a deer hunt in Indiana I could not believe my eyes! I live in Indiana, and have bought your alls videos every year, and could not recall a hunt in Indiana before. But I know there is huge deer here, especially since the DNR implemented the one buck rule 5 or 6 years ago. It is exciting to see your state on such a prestigous show like Monster Bucks, and will look forward each year to see if more Indiana hunts are coming. I know there are probably several other people who probably feel the same way. The more states you get hunts on, the wider your sales will be. Everyone knows by now that Texas, Kansas, Montana, Illinois, Iowa have big deer. Not everyone can afford to go there. But when they see a Monster from Ohio, Maryland, Kentucky, or other states not commonly seen, that gets you fired up for the the upcoming season more than you know.
Keep up the good work!
P.S. The first paragraph was dripping with sarcasm.
Todd - Indiana

Can't wait for the new monster bucks. I just bought the latest All-Stars of Spring, i'm a little disappointed. There needed to be more insite into where the hunt was and what was happening, all it showed was someone setting up, calling and then killing a gobbler.
Hi David,
I've been watching and buying these since Team Realtree did the very first hunt here in Michigan 15 years ago. I can hardly wait for the next DVD's to come out, I'll be watching. Thank's, Ed.
If you have so many hunts to choose from why not have vlo. 1,2,& 3? Sounds good to me!!! I would buy 3 DVD'S instead of 2!!
David...
I agree with the previous post, why not make 3 volumes. This is annual rite of spring for me, waiting for the Real Tree videos to come out. Or why not put out a 3rd video on it's own? Keep up the great work, your whole team/organization is first class!!!
