With turkey season opening in Alabama in the morning and Georgia next Saturday, I wanted to see if anyone will be in the woods this weekend or next?
I can't wait to get out with my boys and the Realtree crew. I'll keep you posted on what goes on, but please let us know how your season goes as well.

My father and I are going to our Hancock lease next Friday for opening weekend. We have some pics on the trail cams of some nice longbeards, so we both are excited for the season to start! I hope you and your sons put ya'll some birds on the ground. Take care.

My turkey hunt isn't until the end of may so I have to wait a while yet, heck here in Michigan we still have a bit of snow on the ground, but today it got up to 57 (everyone was walking around with T-shirts and shorts) so hopefully the snow will be gone soon.

You're so lucky! Here in Jersey our season doesn't open until Mid-April. My 8 year old daughter will be heading out with me for her second season of "watching". It's my 3rd year of turkey hunting and I'm kind of glad I haven't harvested one because the first one I do get, she'll be there to share the experience with me. Hope you got one this weekend!!!

Great for you guys! Waitin til April 12 here in NC. Counting the days. Warming weather here has gotten me in the mood. This will be my 4th year of chasing the jellyhead. Hopefully this will be my year to score for the first time. Let the SHOT fly!

Was in your neck of the woods(La Grange) this morning but no luck pulling the trigger. Heard a few distant gobbles and called in a couple of hens but no longbeards. Regardless, it was a beautiful morning to be in the woods. Came back home to make Easter Sunrise Service in the morning. A small sacrifice for the big sacrifice He made. I've been hunting hard here in Tift county the last three weeks. Me and my buddy got a double last sunday on film, even made it to church on time! I love this time of year... if it keeps up much longer I'll need some new excuses for being late to school hahaha
