Isn't funny that no matter what part of the country your in you always have those deer or turkey that have them nicknames. Heck we even have nicknames for our stand locations.
If you told me to go sit in the Northeast corner stand I might look at you funny, but tell me to go sit in the moneyhole, and I understand immediatley what you are talk'n about.
Last year we had the following deer on the farm we hunt; Swamp Monster, Big Boy, Night Walker, ol' trash, and so on.
This year is the first year we get to hunt turkey in the county were we usually deer hunt. We have seen turkey in our scouting attempts. So I imagine we will name the 1st Turkey "Rookie of the Year".
