Great video blog. Looks like everybody is taking it easy while David is gone. Don't get caught. :)

Pretty funny! That's alright - hey, if the boss man is away playin' outside - y'all should be free to play some yourselves, right?!
Alan Linnenkohl - We'll never believe those lines you give us about you having a busy day at work again! :)

Looks like no more summer vacations for Mr. Blanton.
Dear David,
I am an extremely serious hunter, fisherman, and lover of the lord...with lots of baggage like the rest; recently I attended the Blackshear Place Sportsman's banquet where you spoke…thank you for your openness and honesty. I to have traveled down a similar road and choose to not go backwards, which is why I am writing to you. I am hoping this letter reaches you and opens up a possible opportunity to speak with you about a men’s ministry idea God has been trying to beat into my head for quite some time. In fact I have dreamed about this outdoor project since well before “Wild at Heart,” and have always allowed work and pursuit of money to shield me from God’s purpose for my life, thus I have never gotten it off the ground. Your testimony, in conjunction with several other big influences has been like a neon sign telling me to get to work on something that matters for eternity and to be less focused on my personal gain. Even today while sharing your testimony I found myself welling up on a morning walk with the husband of the Little Mermaid, Ray Benson. I have done my research and would like to discuss a project with you. I promise to be very to the point as I know your time is valuable. Can you please e-mail me so that I could give you a 10-minute overview for your consultation and insight?
