The Funniest Country Music Star

I just came out of one of the edit suites where Phillip Culpepper was putting the finishing touches on an Realtree Road Trip episode. On this particular show, scheduled to air around the first of August, Michael is sharing another camp with Blake Shelton, the country music singer.
Now, I’ve had the privilege to meet Blake and hang out with him a little but not as much as Michael has and I have to say, after previewing this episode, that Blake has got to be the absolute craziest, funniest guy in all of country music.
In fact, this may be the most entertaining Road Trip that I’ve ever seen. Now, there has been some really funny moments with fellow “country singing” comedians in the past such as Rhett Akins and Gary LeVox, but Blake is now officially listed as the No.1 goofball of them all!
Not to give away the entire show, but there is a scene where Blake is conducting a backstage “meet and greet” with fans and he asks all the ladies if they’ve ever heard of Michael Waddell. Of course, some had and Blake’s responses are gut busting! Then, if they’ve never heard of Michael his reactions are even funnier!
Yeah he’s funny.
And man, can he sing! Sitting around camp with just a guitar in his hand, delivering some of his past hits, Blake sounds just like he does on the radio! It’s truly amazing.
I’m thankful a guy like Blake has remained just a good guy and doesn’t take himself too seriously.
Don’t miss this Road Trip!

I have watched Blake on Gettin Close w/ Lee & Tiffany and he is really funny. I wish I could meet him and hunt with him. He looks like he's a great guy to hang with in the deer camp. He can diffently sing a note or two. I hope I get to watch the episode. Talk to ya later.
God Bless & Good Huntin'

I have to agree, I saw him on an episode of gettin close and he is funny. He really knows how to take it to the edge of almost serious, and bam let you have it. I would like to know how many times in that episode he butchered Lee and Tiffiny's last name.

I have never met Blake, but I know he is Crazy. He would definitely keep the camp alive. Like seeing him on Lee & Tiff's show also. Can't wait to see this show also.
Have a great weekend, welcome back.

It's refreshing to see someone who's in the spotlight remain a down to earth and humble, humorous human being.
