I know this has nothing to do with this particular blog, but I have always appreciated you using the phrase "what a blessing" after each of your hunts. You are truly blessed to be in the position you are in, and we are all truly blessed to be able to hunt the magnificent wildlife that God created for us to enjoy and be stewards of. Happy hunting!

David, Good Luck on your season. Dad and I are pretty excited about getting out with our bows as well. Season starts in South Carolina Sept. 15. Need a good South wind that day so send some up from GA if you will. Take care, and God Bless. Jay & Jantzen Childers

I think it is time for a social behavioral lesson on the hunter. Let us take or subject (Mr. Blanton) for instance. He is in his stand on the first morning of hunting season. Notice how wide awake he is. There is an absence of swelling around the eyes, no pillow wrinkle marks down the side of his cheeks. This phenomenon only appears this time of year after a long leave of absence from the tree stand. If you were to take this same video at the same time of morning lets say July 1st; you would see all the above and quite possibly a little dribble of drool from the corner of the mouth. Please do not be alarmed Mr.Blanton is perfectly fine. This is a common case of Openingdayalitist. Good Luck David, and thanks for being our subject for today's lesson.

Hey David,,, Im excited for your upcoming season. Ive really enjoyed watching your hunts over the years and really appreciate not only the way you hunt, but how you conduct yourself and your openness with your faith. My best friend, who i just introduced to hunting a couple years ago, died unexpectedly in late March. We really loved watching the Realtree dvds. We liked them as much for the value system that you guys have and the camaraderie shared as we did for the amazing hunts. I was going to take him on his first November deer hunt in Ohio this year and he was so excited about that. But the Lord has a different plan. So as this hunting season starts i go in with mixed emotions.
But to you guys i just want to say thank you! Thank you for what you stand for and for memories and excitement you create for those who watch your shows. Whenever i turn one on, my friend doesnt seems so far away!
    Have an awesome season!!!
    God Bless!

    David,

I first moved to Wisconsin 18 years ago. For the most part I was raised and grew up in Florida chasing those hard to find Osceola's. But after purchasing your first Monster Bucks I was hooked. That was the start of my bow hunting madness. This has become my passion, focus, and just per enjoyment for the last 18 years. Thank you for driving me, pushing me, teaching me, and more than anything being there all of us who truly love to hunt.
Best of luck to you and the netire crew at Realtree. God Bless.
