Going Bald......

No, I'm not bald yet......but after next week this is what I will look like!!!

The annual "Baldy Awards" fund-raising event will be held next week at the 2010 ATA Show. I have been nominated to participate this year in one of bowhunting most elite fraternities, "the Baldys." In the past 10 years, over $640,000 has been collected through the Baldy Awards. The money goes to a fund supporting research by doctors Arnold Leonard and Dan Saltzman, who are connected to the University of Minnesota Medical School. Their research involves genetic engineering designed to boost the immune system, and it has made major progress in recent years.
I know hunters are kind hearted and loving people, so if you would like to make a donation for the sake of my baldness...Here's how:

To donate by credit card
Call Dr. Leonard's office at 612.341.9498.

To donate by check

Mail your check to:

Arnold S. Leonard Cancer Research Fund
715 Florida Ave South #305
Golden Valley, MN 55426

Your donations are 100% tax deductible. The ASL Cancer Research Fund tax ID# is 20-2924536.

That event is for a good cause and I'm sure you are proud to participate.Everyone knows someone in their life that cancer has effected in some way.I think you should carry that look with confidence and with the peace of mind that Realtree has a awsome line of hats to choose from. I think you should sport that style through the spring, it really cuts back on wind drag when your runnin and gunnin turkeys.Seriously though, your doing a great thing. Take care KDub

Its just hair. God decided to start taking mine away years ago. So I help him out from time to time and buzz the rest of it off. Come to find out I like it. Little to no shampoo, no combing or blow drying. Very low maintenance. Plus I am to the point in my life where I don't worry if the chicks dig it or not. Love me for who I am, there is a lot more to this ride than just hair!

Glad to see you stepping up to the plate!

    Dear Dave,

I was just going to tell you that I saw your pic on the RT homepage and was taken aback by your greying hair. I, myslf, have very little hair, but then, I'm not the one who has to look at it all the time, so it doesn't bother me too much, but I see yours all the time and it makes me feel old to think that you are getting old, even though I am only 34. When I saw that picture of you with NO hair, I thought, "dangit, he's balder than I am. I am getting old!". Nice to see that you're just doing it for a good cause, but please, when it does grow back, get some "Just for Men" or some rear-end grease or somethin' man. It will make you look younger and I won't feel so much like I'm getting old too when I see you on TV. Thanks in advance for your selfless consideration of my measley self esteem.
