    Default Lame Ducks

I just scrolled through the sign-up for the deer hunting contest and notice there are a lot of people that signed up and that was their one and only post.

Why not make it mandatory to have at least 20 posts or something.

I'm not trying to ruffle feathers but its not hard to get 20 posts let alone 50.

All you have to do is drop in from time to time say...

    "Hi"

    ..."Nice pic"

    ..."Happy birthday"

    ..."Welcome"

    ..."Nice wife" (sorry)

    you all know.

    Just my 2 cents.

need2hunt is going to spread those type of entrants out. Each team should have an equal number of "low" posters or at least close to equal.

When you get one on your team, try corresponding with e-mails if they have one. If they don't have one listed, ask them for one. Make them feel welcome to where they check their team post daily.

But remember, although this seems to be a game of skill(hunting), the "team" part is really a game of luck. Luck of the draw.

Like MCH said I'll be trying to spread the lower post counts as evenly as possibly... but you never can be to sure on the "lame duck" theory... last year I ran this same contest on a different site and i didn't evenly distribute the lower posters and one team ended up with like 5 out of a possible 8. They were having a hard time getting ahold of everyone and even asked me several times to disband there team and redistribute them through the rest of the teams... I said no... guess which team won? Yep the good ole lame ducks... took them awhile to get together but they ended up killing alot of deer. MCH has got it right, really alot of luck.

Yeah, I guess as long as the other team members try to stay in contact with them it won't turn out to bad.

I want my team name to be the Lame Ducks.

Maybe they are spending all their free time hunting instead of posting.

"Lame Ducks" sounds better than "Lame Bucks"
