Hey all, putting up stands this week I was out after elk last week and could have shot plenty of 120 -140 5X5 Whitetails but waiting for the big one. Season opened on Sept 26 in the forest here in Saskatchewan.

Just checking in, season starts Oct. 15 but don't usually take one early unless it's a bigger one. Just be patient with me. Late buck starts in nov. and thats when the big fellers start moving a lot. Good luck to everyone. Hope we do better than my turkey team did!

Been pretty warm here since our season opened. Hope to see some good movement here this weekend. Supposed to get down to 38 Friday night, should get the deer moving pretty good for Saturday morning.
