Just checkin in. We have way way too much snow to even think about turkeys yet. Deer and Turkeys are having a pretty hard time and if we don't start to warm up and chip away at that snow pack, it will be a down year. Before the rain last night(coated everything in 1/2" of ice) we had 24"-30"+ on flat ground and in the woods. My season is the last one in Wisconsin May 21-25. I plan to take my bow unless we are in contension and a "Clutch" bird is needed.

Hello ya all, John here. The spring season opens April 22 and ends the 11th of May for the State of Indiana. I do all my turkey hunting on public land, Hoosier National Forest.
I may go to Missouri at my parents place for a weekend or 2 I'm just not sure yet. The price for the nonresident tag just keeps going up and up..$175....good grief!

just checkin in with the team. hmm i think our season starts the first weekend of april and runs into the second weekend of may but don't quote me on it. i'll be be hunting with my bow this year but will switch to the ol shotgun if it comes down to it, seen a few great toms on the property during deer season and i hope that they are still hangin around this spring
Draw..Aim..Release..Repeat..
I guess we need a team name? Anyone see a different team using "Jelly Heads"? It kind of sounded cool. A name isn't a big deal for me. Catch ya later.

just checking in. I have seen a few birds around our place close to home, and there is one white one in the group. But i haven't checked out my honey hole spots, and any name is fine with me.
How about the, "The Thunder Chickhen Busters"...
