Hello everyone! My name is Nadine and I'm checking in for Team #7. I'll be hunting Easterns in Pennsylvania in May. I've been turkey hunting since 2005. Hopefully this year I'll bag my first longbeard. I saw a lot of good turkey sign back in December, so looking forward to getting out there and after them gobblers. Good luck everyone!

A little bit about me. This is my 15th year turkey hunting. I hunt my buddy's ranch----I'm the only one who turkey hunts it. It has quite a few merriams on the place & I usually do pretty darn well. 14 out of the 15 years I've tagged a gobbler. I'm 53, I shoot an old 870 that I bought when I was 15----it only shoots 2 3/4" shells & I use "baby mags" Federal #4's. Standard full choke. Quaker Boy, Grand Old Master box call is my favorite go to call.

As far as names for the team---I'm good with anything you all like. Team 7 is OK by me.

Plus I'm computer illiterate----so one will have to post photo of my bird if I get one. CB

I'm fine with any team name, I'm not picky. We can stay Team 7 or maybe Team Lucky 7 or something like that. Or if someone wants to come up with a clever team name that isn't already taken then I'm fine with that too. Maybe something like Team Realtree Renegades, Team Realtree Strutters, Team Realtree Bird Busters, Team Realtree Gobbler Getters, etc.

Once we decide on a team name, if enough team members want a signature to wear around with the team name I can make us one once we are sure everyone on the team has checked in and that we aren't replacing anyone.

Also, if anyone needs help hosting their entry's pictures or even posting up their entry feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll send you one back with my e-mail. Long as you can get the pictures on your computer somehow and attach them to an e-mail I have no problem hosting them on my own photobucket until the contest ends and helping you get them up in a post in the entry thread. Just make sure you read the rules and have all the pictures you need to get your entry qualified!

I hope everyone has a fun, safe, and successful season! I'm looking forward to seeing pictures and stories of your gobblers. Hopefully I can lay some lead into a gobbler myself.

Hey guys/gals, Steve here checking in from Alabama. Can't wait for March 15. Been seeing a few strutters starting to gather up their flocks & hearing some birds gobble from the roost. Been doing this now since '87 or '88 & I swear I love it more every year. Good luck to each of you & I look forward to hearing stories & seeing pics.

I've been turkey hunting for the last 4 years. I've killed 3 so far. First one was 24 pounds. I've killed one the last two years and called them both in to within 30 yards. We usually do pretty good aslong as the weather is well. I kinda like the name Team Realtree Renegades.

That's cool I'm only about 24 minutes from Linglestown in Middletown. I've been there quite a few times or drove through on the way places. Right now we're going to get a flood. Flood stage for the River is 17' and it's expected to go to 18.1'. So, if I'm quiet on the team thread the next couple days it's because of the flood. I have to move a whole basement full of racing equipment and two race cars and find homes upstairs for all my big hunting gear like my archery targets, blinds, treestands, etc. Plus I have 4 hybernating turtles outside that I have to somehow wake up early and remove.
