Turkey contest alternates needed!!!!

If you missed the signup deadline for this year's Turkey Contest..........I have good news!!

I need one more eligible contestant RIGHT NOW. If you want in and have 50 or more posts, be the first to reply to this thread (or the one in the Turkey Forum) and you're in.

If you are not the first to reply.....you will be held as an alternate to replace no-shows, etc. For instance, last year, I think I placed about 7 or 8 alternates on teams. So it's not just a shot in the dark. Sign up.

turkeynutz64...after seeing this post and you only had 72 posts, my first thought was that you may not have had at least 50 posts by signup deadline and was deleted. After doing some digging...I see you would have had enough posts and wouldn't have gotten deleted. So I went back into the contest sign-up thread and scanned through all those who signed up hoping we didn't miss you some how. However, I didn't see your sign-up anywhere.

So I guess I need to ask...where exactly did you sign up at? Strut and I both printed out the sign up thread, so I can't see how you signed up in the correct place and we both missed it? All I can say is sorry, don't know what happened.

I dont remember what thread it was! I havent had my puter up sense mid jan.! Was in the middle of moving to a new state! But if you cant get me in thats ok! I got lots of birds to send floping anyway!

I believe Strut and I agreed on giving at least 2 weeks for everyone to check in with their team. If after 2 weeks a team has one or more folks who aren't showing any interest in the contest or their respective teams and the team agrees its an issue...then is when the alternates will come into play...you'll be placed on the team that the no show was on.
