Attn: Oklahomans! 2008 Get Together

It's looking as if this years get together is going to take a lil turn and break tradition. As far as I know the annual get together and 3-D will not be held in stonewall at Griz's this year. On that note I'd like to thank you Dale for the many years you've hosted the get together. We are forever in your debt. Hats off bud.

Now since that has been canceled, I want everyones opinion on a time and place to have our get together. I'd like everyones opinions and stuff so we can get something arranged. I'm not one to break tradition and I love seeing everyone each year. Not to mention the kiddos who look forward to this get together as well! So lets get the ball rolling on ideas, and if ya wanna talk to me feel free to call me at (405) 584-0546....as I'll be away from the computer this week. Lets do this, and get a time and place set!

Sounds good Kyle. If I can get time off work, you can count on my crew being there. We had a great time at Dales last year. I'am in the process of switching jobs, and my new store is scheduled to open sometime around the 1st of June. I know when it opens I'am pretty much tied to it 7 days a week for awhile.

I know I will miss going to Griz's place but whatever you guys decide I'll try my best to be there. I missed going last year but had a Retriever Trial and was running my dog.

I am all for doing something as well. When would be a good time? I am thinking Mid-May. That wouldn't interfere with Memorial day, Kyle your wedding, and Trey, the store opening as far as ya'll are concerned. I will have fish by then if we decide we wanna stick with that. Let's see who all wants to come to this, and then decide. But if it's gonna be in May, we need to get a headcount and SOON!!!!!

How does everyone feel about May 10th??? I know it is short notice, but for May, that is about all that is open, and I'm not sure about June.

I'm sure you can count on Cole and I being there. It will all depend on when the wife has Cole's birthday party. His birthday is on the 15th, which is in the middle of the week, so I don't know if she will have it the weekend before or after. If we're free we will be there.
And I already have spoonbil in the freezer and much more to come!!!!!!!!!!

Okay folks, looks like a place has been decided on. Okiedog has offered up the use of his place as the host sight to the 2008 Oklahoma Realtree Get Together. For some this will be a little closer, and for others just a touch further, but less than an hours difference either way. A map and directions will be provided when the time gets closer. For those that may want to spend the night either Sat night or come in Friday night and stay, you are more than welcome to come and stay at my house. I have two spare bedrooms, one with a bed, and airmattress for the other, and 2 couches, along with my popup camper. All that is needed now is a headcount, and ideas for table scraps!!!!!
