Finally had the pleasure of getting in my first 3D tournament of the year today. It was about 130 miles from home, which seems to be about the closest anymore. But it was a beautiful day, both for a drive and a stroll in the woods.

I was pretty happy with most of my shooting and captured 2nd place out of about 30 shooters in the division - men's unlimited. My focus was there when I needed it, yet there was excellent conversation among all the guys in our group and everyone had a great time. A good, fun day. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Congrats, Canuck. There's nothing like walking a course with a good group of guys and slinging arrows. A great way to spend a weekend...http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks guys. As Tony said, it's great to get out like that after being cooped up all winter.

J.B., you are too kind. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I've not had any formal coaching but managed to get my hands on a Bernie Pellerite book and stuff like that. I'm afraid I've gone about shooting all wrong but now I'm too old to straighten out. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
