i'm betting my Ohio brothers can back me up on this one.
Ohio is a pretty important state when it comes to electoral votes, so both Bush and Kerry are hitting us hard. both of them are running smear ads, although it's not authorized by him, Kerry has one now that hits below the belt.
are you guys getting hit with tons of commercials?
i can't wait for next Wednesday. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No more than normal. Alabama predominantly votes Republican so I guess Kerry knew better than to waste his time here! http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Minnesota is also a swing state. Like Ohio, not only are we getting bombed with commercials, the candidates and their VP's are here about every day!!
Your right about not being able to wait till it's done, I HOPE it's next week!!!!

Think according to the polls Bush has Tennessee quite handily over Kerry. That said we are not seeing as many commercials for the presidential race on our local networks we get off satellite as what we see on other channels like cnn.

Same with Wisconsin. I am pretty tired of all the ads. The candidates, VP's, or thier wives are here just about every other day.
I hope it is over by Wednesday, but I fear that it won't be.

Yup, I think PA is in the same boat. I tell you what's really bad this year is the phone calls. I bet we have been getting 3 to 5 a day for the last couple weeks. I am completely sick of politics at this point, I can't wait for this election to be over. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Tominator,
There hitting us real hard with the commercials. I kid you not, the commercials now are 90% on the candiates, you'll get a Kerry then the next will be Bush, then a local candidate will get in and start to smear their opponent, then you get the proposal commercials as well.
I can't wait till Nov. 3rd, Bush back in office again and I can start to see new non-political commercials. The next thing will be getting rid of all those signs around the area. Go up real fast, take some time to remove them though.
BTW: Michigan must be a swing state too as Bush is coming back again to make one last impression, he doesn't have to worry, he's got mine!!

ditto here... so tired of em makes me almost ready for my 2nd least favorite type of commercial. Christmas commercials before Thanksgiving are sickening but at least not as tiresome because they do have some good music. in em

Not too many here. Bush has this state locked up so we've been spared.

Make sure they don't wear you down and out so much that you don't vote. That may be their strategy. We are counting on you to turn out and cancel out the socialist vote!

Fear not Northforker, they have only strengthened my resolve to vote for George Bush.
When one of them calls live (not one of those idiotic recordings) I simply ask them "On who's behalf are you calling?" then I tell them "Thanks, now I know who to vote against!" then hang up on them. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

a tape of him had him saying...."can I git me a huntin' liscense here?" Nice try kerry.....you fit right in. Any real hunter knows how phony he is.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ain't that the truth! If only all hunters nationwide would have the sense to see what an insulting weiner he is and vote against him on that premise alone.
As disgusting as it was, it was good for a laugh anyway.

Thank god I live in heaven - I mean Kansas. We're already declared a red state so we/I haven't seen much in the way of the political ads. Only ones I see are those reported on the news and wouldn't see them if I didn't watch FOX News.

We're getting bombarded here because Wisconsin is a battle-ground state. Since we're electorally pretty insignificant, I can't even imagine how hard you all are getting hit with ads in Ohio.
I don't mind the ads at all personally--well, the Kerry ones tick me off, but it's they're better than Oxi-Clean, Pops-a-Dent, and Girls Gone Wild commercials. LOL

Join the club Aaron, I'm so sick of it I don't even feel like voting. As for the GGW commercials, I like em too but I wouldn't dare buy the DVD's, my fiance would have me outta the house so fast, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. left a message on my voice mail urging me to vote Republican. I don't go to concerts or church to get a political stump speech, and I certainly didn't pay 140 bucks to go to a race and hear a stump speech either, at least when I go to Darlington on the 14th the elections will be over....hopefully.
