Did anyone see where Theresa Heinz Kerry said Laura Bush never had a real job in her life. This was at a ralley she was at. Here's another example of those people running their mouths for the sake of running their mouths.

Laura Bush was a school teacher and librarian. Never got her money from a Ketch-up fortune!!!

Then John Kerry defends his wife saying at times she just says whatever comes out of her mouth. Yeah their the type of people I want to see run our country. Just filling people's heads with lies and then showing no remorse!!

Saw that last week. A woman who speaks her mind and spouts off things that are not even true for the entire world to see. Not exactly what we need in a first lady.

Yes she did apologize, but the remarks never should have been made, and her apology was not sincere. Did John Kerry ever apologize for his attack on Dick Cheneys daughter????

Makes you wonder what they say when the microphones are off. We're hearing the lies made publicly. The things they keep coming up with, smooth talkers crossing the line on many issues. They need to get some fact checkers and quit making themselves out to look like fools.

Problem is people listen to this gibberish and base their decision on these cut downs and insults. They might have "a plan" as they call it but thats just it, "a plan" that will not work, too many promises and not enough money to justify "the plan" to work.

He didn't attack her lol.

"We’re all God’s children, Bob. And I think if you were to talk to Dick Cheney’s daughter, who is a lesbian, she would tell you that she’s being who she was, she’s being who she was born as. I think you talk to anybody, it’s not a choice.”

Thats what he said. Thats exactly what he said. You seriously think that was an attack?

[/ QUOTE ]

OF course it is an attack. Why don't you take into consideration how the cheney family felt about their daughter's sexual preferance being used to hurt them on national tv. Is she the only gay person that he's ever heard of? He could of used several of his friends who are gay.
And, "she would tell you"?, how the **** does he know what she would tell you, he's never even spoken to her. Maybe she does think it's a choice, how would he know? The guy is a slimeball.

My favorite teresa quote-"you're saying something I didn't say, now you just shove it" Classy lady.

Didn't teresa know that laura bush is a mother? Isn't that a real job? It's alot harder than seducing old decrepid billionares and spending their money after they die. Heck, anna nicole smith can do that.

This is just like the new explosives scandel. Every one who was at the sight first say that it wasn't there when they got to the facility. I think this is going to bite Kerry on the@$$.

Once again Kerry came out with his double barrel blaring with nothing to back him up on it.

There is no comparison between Heinz-Kerry and Laura Bush. Mrs Bush is a Lady.

Actually she apologized profusely after she was told she was wrong and Laura Bush said that there was no reason to apologize.

Big deal... never should have been said. Thats typical though, look what her husband said about Cheneys daughter and then tried to "explain what he meant". I can't stand the look of his droopy face everytime I turn on the t.v. God help us if he gets elected. When he starts going against the sportsman.. which he probably will, you won't be able to blame me. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Saw the apology. Heard what she said. Think it was something to the effect that she "forgot" about Laura Bush having been a teacher and a librarian. Not to mention a mother.

Heinz-Kerry is a fruitcake. She says what is on her mind and often times it is not reality.

Its classic "foot in mouth syndrome." Its amazing that these people can even talk when it seems like their foot is constantly in their mouth!!!

All they are looking for at ralleys is getting the crowd into it whether it means you are telling the truth or not. Its not about how you could do better and how, to them its about smearing Bush/Cheney and their families and running down someones record and its sad especially when they should take a look in the mirror at themselves.

Just running their mouths just to hear themselves talk!!!

I will agree there. He can't be too happy about that and I am sure Bush isin't either.

Only someone who is deeply ashamed of their daughter being a lesbian would consider that an attack.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think it was an attack, but I do think it was a politically calculated ploy by the Kerry campaign. I think it was in poor taste and inexcusable. That would be like bringing up Roger Clintons prison record in a Clinton debate. Everyone knew about it, but bringing up an opponents family for your own political gain should be off limits.

Kerry knew what he was saying. He did not have to use Cheneys daughter as an example. The way in which he used his comments directed towards the current administration it was a verbal attack.

Like was said above, he does not know how she feels. He gave no consideration to her thoughts when he blurted out his planned words to attempt to degrade the Cheney family.

As far as the Cheneys being ashamed, the way they have talked publicly openly about this, I personally have seen from my viewpoint what seems to me to be parents who are proud of their daughter despite her lifestyle.
