It's been a bit busy around here this past week with the deer hunting and all. But last Saturday was our fall turkey opener. Got word at lunchtime that my brother and a couple other guys had a flock broken. Me and Hangunnr wolfed our sandwiches and grabbed the scatterguns!! About 20 or 30 minutes after we hit the woods I "kee-keed" a 10 lb. hen in and downed her at about 30 yards. We walked over to collect her, and, like a dummy, I started calling as we were standing there. A minute or two later, a white-headed bird "putted" to our left. 'Gunnr could see it for a brief second. But no shot opportunity for him.
