Wisconsin Gun Season Opener comin!!!

All ya guy's ready for Sat.??? We got trackin snow comin and its gonna get a bit nipply in the eve,....down in the saingle digits.. that should help get the deer active... Looks like we are gonna catch the rut in its peak this time around...bucks are standing out in the feilds and got the doe cornerd off by itself..this should be a great year!!

Well I am ready, but you can keep the snow. It ruins our hunting. We have a lot of acres in CRP and the snow knocks down the grass that deer love to bed in. Cold temps. is fine, but I am praying for no snow.

My 73 year old dad arrives friday afternoon to join the gang for the traditional family hunt.

Martin, I think your right! The rut seams to be very late this year... bow hunting was rough, but the last few nights I've begun to see a bunch more buck movement- should make things very interesting with a rifle in my hands! Maybe Mrs. Goat will slay another monster???

Ok, I'm going nuts now for sure.

A co-worker arrived at work late this morning. He had been out with the bow. Shot a big 10 pointer...almost 21 inch spread, long g2's. Awesome buck.

The buck is sitting in the parking lot in the back of his pickup for all of us "working" hunters to drool over.

I think this Saturday is going to be awesome! Bucks are moving!
