Did any of you guys watch the 15 minute address to the nation last night. I think Bush is right that if we pull out now the whole country would be in chaos again. Hopefully they will finish the job and never have to go back.

Missed the speech (I was driving home from deer hunting http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) but I caught the press/talking heads analysis. As usual, they were all saying things like "The situation is much more complex than that" or "President Bush is taking a simplistic view of things". Well, sometimes the simple answer IS the best answer. And if you want the best advice, don't ask some egg head, just ask a simple man.

He simply said that he was taking responsibility for moving into Iraq even though many thought it was a bad idea that we needed to take Saddam out. If we pull out now that all will be lost, so we are going to follow thru with what we started.

make no mistake about it. we will be hit again by the terrorists. bush brilliantly put a clear line between him and the nay sayers. when the next hit happens, we will know who the bad guys are.
