Hye guys and gals when out hunting tomorrow don't forget about what day it is!! Remember those men and women who died so we can live in a free country and hunt![even though the liberals have nearly forgotten it all]

We definately need to take the time to remember the sacrifices made to defend our way of life. NOw more than ever we need to carry the torch since many veterans have passes away in teh past few years such as my grandfather. Though they may pass on, we must carry on the memories of what they did for us all. Going to be at the ceremony here in Ottawa tomorrow. Gotta buy poppy #7 first though. I swear those things are designed to fall off.

OTTAWA (CP) - The mother of a fallen Canadian soldier placed a wreath at the foot of National War Memorial during Remembrance Day ceremonies Thursday as thousands gathered to honour Canada's war dead.

Agatha Dyer is the mother of Cpl. Ainsworth Dyer, who was killed in a friendly fire incident in Afghanistan in 2002.

She joined several veterans and dignitaries, including Prime Minister Paul Martin and Gov. Gen. Adrienne Clarkson, placing wreaths near the stone wall of the monument just after 11 a.m. as a children's choir sang.

Earlier, the Canadian flag was lowered to half mast on the nearby Peace Tower.

More than 110,000 Canadians have died in two world wars, Korea and other campaigns.
