Iran???

So Iran wants to go nuclear, and says that Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth! Also! That the Holocust never happened!!! Also, I heard the European countries are dragging there feet as well! Sounds like they are waiting to see what the USA is gonna do first!

What do the Dems have to say about this??? Or are they just ignoring the problem like always because it wont fit into their agenda?

Actually, from what I have heard and read, the "dems" as you call them feel Iran was a greater threat than Iraq and that Iran is a powderkeg waiting to erupt. It seems more to me that Iran doesn't fit into Bush's agenda, neither does Saudi Arabia. When Iran made their statement about Israel, the White Houses reaction was a stern "you shouldn't say things like that."

Actually, the "overthrow" of Iran started as soon as the U.S. decided to take action in the Middle East after 9/11. By removing the Islamo-Fascist regime in Afghanistan and the totalitarian dictatorship in Iraq and installing a democratic (and hopefully more pro-western) form of government, we've effectively isolated Iran from the rest of the region.

I guess the first thing that should be done is make sure beyond the shadow of a doubt that the intelligence is 100% accurate, because we all know what happens when it isn't. The issue is whether or not who supported what and when. Everyone from the President down to the lowest ranking member of the House of Representatives believed the intelligence about Iraq and Saddam Hussein was accurate, it wasn't and now people are dead. The Republicans still support our President and the intelligence that he himself admitted was inaccurate. What do they say, hindsight is 20/20.

Democrats, the party of "open-minded" people are so narrow-minded when it comes to Iraq though, slugshooter.

Here are two simple questions:

Are we, is the Middle East, is the world now better off that Saddam Hussein is out of power?

Is the introduction of democracy into the Middle East--the introduction of freedom into an oppressed world--is THIS better?

Those who support President Bush and the war will say yes. So will those who remember what tyranny is like--ask people in Hungary and Poland.

Unfortunately, many on the left are so narrow-minded and short-sighted that they care more about "freedom fighters." These people are criminals who MURDER innocent men, women, and children and show NO mercy nor any redeeming quality. I could care less about the "detainees" at Gitmo or their human rights. They've never fought for a nation. They've attacked only in an attempt to fear the Iraqi people into submitting again to oppression.

And they will not succeed.

Just because the WMD's weren't found to the degree that was expected, doesn't necasarily mean that we were "lied to". Besides POLITICS and 100% ACCURATE are two words I personaly wouldn't concider connected. I would like to hear your "20/20 hindsight, Keep in mind that Iraq isn't that large of a country and our friends the media only told the whole world we were going in how long before we hit ground? gettig back to the original story about iraq wanting to get nukes and wipe israel off the map... i want to encourage them to do that. those jerks in iraq will make a backwoods attempt to hit israel. israel, a true world power with out all our liberals, will simply make a parking lot out of iraq in short order. maybe then the rest of that part of the world will pay attention. i give iraq a 1% chance of hurting the military pro's of israel. point is, i hope they try.
