welcome to RT!
corn is a great choice in the winter as the deer really benefit from the high carbs. As it starts to warm up and their needs change to higher protein you have a choice of adding soybeans to your feeders or one of the commerical deer feeds. Purina makes a deer chow that is water resistant and suppose to go thru corn feeders with no problem.
good luck

Welcome to the forums.
We use corn some at our cameras here out of season. Seems like we get more pics of raccoons than we do of deer at the corn.
