Thursday I beat my wife home from work and as I was sitting in my chair I decided to get out my Turkey toys. When my wife got home I had my decoys setup getting the winter wrinkles out of them and was practicing with my calls. She kind of laughed at me until she found out the season did not start until May 1. She told me where I could put the decoys and it was not back in storage. The decoys are now in the spare bedroom along with all of my calls, they fit much better there. Is the dinning room the wrong place to stretch out decoys? Just wondering. I guess you can say I can't wait for the season to start. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

We put ours up in the yard. We've got a pond about 75 yds from our house and last year 4 geese walked up to the turkey dekes and layed down next to them. We've got them on video just staring at the dekes for about 10 mintues. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I got told to grow up when my lady decoys were stretching and they looked lonely so I put the young jake on my head and begin to strut around gobbling.
Some people's kids http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.
Found out the old hair dryer works wonders on them http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

LOL, I put two of my old hard body decoys out back in the yard. Every now and then I will catch a live turkey hanging out with them.

I don't see a problem with getting excited so soon, just last night I had my vest on and was going through the pockets and re-organizing it. Season starts May 1st! http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

No place is the wrong place for anything involving turkey hunting.
If my wife said that to me, I'd be beating her more than home from work. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ( She gave me permission to say that! http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I often check out my stuff in the living room, but I put it away when Im done
I'm with Oneida Man. The Mrs does not mind a few things out but not all. And we learned to never practice calling in the house. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
