Heard my first gobble during PA's buck season! LOL! The top 4 scores for each team will be used to calculate the team's final score. The team with the highest final score will be the winning team. So even we are one man short, we still have a chance! Lets get em!

I am in PA. Ill have two days every weekend for the entire season, but I can only hunt till 12 noon. We are not allowed to hunt all day in PA. Our season starts April 29 and lasts until May 27. Good luck everybody!

I live in Northwest PA. I will be able to hunt every weekend and probably some during the week because I scheduled my college classes so that I can hunt in the mornings before class. sorry for been so late i forgot the teams started but anyway i live in california. i have 3 ranches i can hunt on and last week when i was pig hunting we got 30 feet from about 150 turkeys (mostly Toms)

Make sure you have The [image] and then the [\image] before and after in the signature space witht he URL in the middle. if yah cant get it figured out there is a thread stickyed at the top of the photography section to to get you set up.

Hey guys, when you respond to the same post. Try to un-check that box that says ADD SIGNATURE. This way we all wont flood the server with all these large sigs! We might have to down-size this a bit! Nobody said anything yet! LOL! I wanted to make sure that the sig would not cause the browser to have to be expanded to see the whole thing! That wont be any problem snip a little off if someone says anything!

Sorry I have not been around, been busy with school and life. I have a flock of turkeys that I see daily at my uncle's farm. Around 50 turkeys and ten of them are big mature long beards.

If I don't get a turkey there then I'll be heading to Tennessee on a ranch near Nashville.

I believe Buckee re-sized it for you didnt he? According to the sig info when you right click it and choose properties. It shows it is being hosted under Buckee's Photobucket.

I got some good news today! I went scouting this morning and heard one gobbler and he was gobbling a few times on the roost and still when he was on the ground. I then went into the woods to try to find his roost tree and found the biggest strut mark I have ever seen! It was like 30 feet long, and really really wide. Hey guys went scouting last week we heard 5 gobblers on the property about 5 or 6t right on the edge of the property and some on the ridge across the field from the property ... we walked right back to the middle of the property and had all these turkeys pitch out right in front of us ... was wild we have never had turkeys pitch out in that field ... its ok though it wasnt light enough for them to see what we were and one spooked it was a hen ... the tom hit the ground strutting literatly ... Im pretty excited about this years hunt ... hopefully I ca get my buddys father in law a turkey this year ... he missed the turkey last year but it was sorta my fault I only called him in 3 of em ... lol ... yeah he missed em all anyhow this year will be different ...

Worked a tom for abbout 1 hour he stayed on the roost about 1.5 hours past daylight ... he flew down when some hens came up from the other side of the ridge ... he worked real good but never flew my way ... he was waiting for the hotties I think ... anyhow it was a great day none the less..

I went out Saturday, didnt hear any gobbles. But I know there in the woods. Went for a little walk seen some areas where they were scratching a bit. Found a bunch of hair scattered all aound my tree where I archery hunt! Darn yotes must have found a dead deer somewhere. If I see one BOOM!!!! LOL!!!

They made new trails up in the mountain, bad part is there is nothing we can do about it! But This weekend coming up is gonna be the best! Hitting my brother's in-laws farm with him and my father! I heard probably 5 gobblers. I got them gobbling their heads off on the roost with some tree calls, but I think the hens came and got them. They gobbled for a little bit on the ground but not a whole lot. I didnt hear anything until 11 when one gobbled about 7 times. Im going out tuesday and thursday this week. The weather is supposed to be warm and sunny. I cant wait!! Good Luck this weekend LifeNRA!!

Dad got a jake, my brother passed up a jake today. I did battle with a gobbler and a hen! Turns out the hen WON! GRRRRRRRR! LOL! Hey thats turkey hunting! The hen would call he gobbled, I called he gobbled, started feeling sorry for the old tom because it seemed he didnt know which way to turn, because he was in between us! LOL! Pretty sure it was the big boss we seen in full strut Friday afternoon. Anyways, had a great time as always there. Hopefully Ill get another chance to head back up there again! I believe some of the hens are not bread yet. The next few weeks should really get hot as most of the hens are all nesting. Then, them toms should start running in more towards the calls we make! I still have six more days of hunting left! I am not done yet!!! My brother forgot to snap a pic of dad's turkey, sorry!

Went behind my house this morning with my best friend. It was his first time turkey hunting. I got back from school late last night and wasnt able to roost any gobblers. We got in this little field in the morning and sat there for a while. At about 5:45am GGGGARRRRRROOOOOOBBBBBLLLLEEEE! He was only 60 yards away! My buddy almost jumped right out of his seat. But he flew down and headed away from us and went right to his strut zone with the hens. We got in tight on them and I called in two hens but they didnt have any gobblers with them. He was the oldest sounding gobbler I have ever heard. I am going to hunt again next saturday but then Im going to miss a whole week when i go to montana. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif But when I get back Im gonna hunt hard and bag one of those monsters back there. Sorry I havent been around. Wednesday I missed a bird, he dunked his head behind a tree when I shot, then on Friday I snuck up on a big tom. My friend and I stalked this turkey for about 120 yards. but never got a shot. Going Tuesday and the rest of the week.

Well guys, I am at a lost here! http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I must have walked 12 miles the last two days and have not heard a single gobble or a hen yelp! This is crazy! My feet are screamming STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure what is going on here with these birds. Earlier in the year I noticed three different dead deer that were either never recovered, or been taken down by yotes. Anyways, nothing! Didnt hear or see anything, well I seen a hen walking near the field edge on my way home, IN MY TRUCK!!! Tried to get some pics, but i believe she was too far away.

I went out this morning after roosting some birds last night. I got into about 90-100 yards of them. They gobbled about 75 times on the roost and then flew down at 5:55am. They only gobbled about 7 times once they hit the ground. Later in the day I found a hens nest with a hen still in it. She had 17 eggs in there. It was only about 5 feet off the side or the road! Hopefully most of them will gro up to be monster longbeards! But they birds are still really henned up.

I didnt give up .. I just didnt get a turkey for myself ... we got Scotts stepdad his first turkey ever and I wanted to get Scott his first turkey with a bow but that didn't happen either ... but what really upset me this year was that I didn't get my wife out turkey hunting with me this year ... we had an event we had to go to the weekend she coulda went with me on ... our season ended last Sunday ...

Sorry for lettin the team down ... it wasn't for lack of trying though we went out every single chance we got but it just wasn't as much as we have in the past ... maybe next year will be better ...

Ok guys, my season is probably done! There is one more day, Saturday, and I dont think Ill be hitting it! I never walked so many miles for a turkey before! This year wasnt the best either, oh well! I still was out hunting, thats all that counts!

sorry i havnt got to yall in a while. i been to busy with skool. anyways my season is over and im without a turkey. sorry for lettin the team down but it looks like we all did. lol
