I hate sitting in my stand when you start to hear a little restling in the leaves, just to find out it is an armadillo.

So the other day I decided to thin out the population a little.

I actually had one more but I didn't feel like carrying it all the way over..
These 4 were all shot with 60 yard radius of each other.

Are they just a pest animal or do you do something with them.

They look like pests to me. Never seen one before, other than a pic. Looks like a pain in the butt tho.

That is a strange looking animal, isn't it?

Used to see them in Florida all the time. We don't have them up here though.

I'm pretty sure they are pest animals. Digging up farmers lands and what not.

HAHA!! I have a couple videos you guys need to watch!! Bowhunting armadillos! We saw 25+ one day, went back the next and only saw about 15. Shot several and got it on video! They are PESTS!! Dig holes everywhere and root up the ground. I've never seen them as thick as they are now.....

They are pretty destructive and are definitely a pest. They dig a lot.

Have seen just a few of em around here. Pretty sure they are allowed to be killed any time like coyotes.
