I know how ya feel buddy. When I shoot my second bird or if not at all and May 31 st comes, it's all over for me. I want to commend you on a fine bird. It's got to be wild up there in Maine hunting those birds.

Congrats on the bird, our season goes out here on the 15th and thats just a few days. I hate to see it go. . . .but i cant complain about my season its been awesome.

congrats on the 2nd bird--my season ended last tuesday--kind of bummed out but it probably saved me from having to hire a divorce attorney. I think my kids were starting to think the mail man was their father images/icons/frown.gif

Well Jim, you are more than welcome buddy, I sure hope you get drawn again next year as well.....you did it buddy, scouting, knowing the terrain, and not sitting still when you needed to hunt them birds down....persistance payed off........great looking bird buddy, we are all proud of you......tell the wife we wish her the best, and to have a safe and happy pregnancy.........now she wont have to listen to anymore turkey calls in the house.....LOL>............................al

I have one more season to hunt this spring. It will start on May 21st. I am hoping to get another. This would be the first time for getting 2 in the spring if I do. images/icons/grin.gif

I hear ya jimt....I hate it when a season ends and time to pack the stuff away. I have some more time yet to hunt...but its slowly coming to an end. Congrats on a great bird. images/icons/wink.gif
