It was his birthday and we went turkey hunting. We'll to make a long story short I shot a bird that was strutin and got him mostly in the chest dad ran out there two step on his head and the turkey played "opposum" when dad took his foot off his head the turkey came back two life and my dad wrestled him down two the ground and put a choke hold on the turkey and stranggled him he got a few scars for a birthday presant from the turkey. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Later that day I told him he started a new sport National Turkey Wrestling federation (NTWF)

I wait til I can get a hold on both legs and then step on the head and stretch that neck way out, that usually does the job pretty quick!

I went to grab one by the legs one time and got a nice spur right on the soft spot between my thumb and index finger. That was 11 years ago and I still have a scar to show for it.

I learned my lesson real quick. Now I just let 'em flop http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My uncle shot one this season that laid there for 30 minutes while he waited for others hunting nearby. Then all of the sudden, up came the bird and off to the races he went! He ended up chasing that bird through briars and across two creeks over the next hour, finally ending it with a shot at close range in the middle of the second creek.

The whole story with details is hilarious. I'll see if I can get him to write it down and let me post it.
