Just wanted to write a note to you all and thank you for your constant prayers. I just got back to my current station yesterday... and boy was it a long day. We started out early in the morning and at 0330 we were ambushed on the road back home. No one in the convoy was hurt, in fact not a single truck was hit. One of my good friends even saw an RPG fly right for his truck and hit low. Later that day we were engaged again, and this time they meant business. We were ambushed from both sides of the road with small arms fire and rpg rounds. Once again we were able to engage the enemy quite successfully, and all eight vehicles made it back with no one hurt. My vehicle and the last vehicle took the most beating with several bullet holes and some busted windows. I am an infantryman, and I always thought I wanted to experience combat... I am now just glad that we all made it back unscathed. I can only credit that to all those back home who continually remember me and my brothers in arms in their prayers... Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You watch yourself over there, and keep up the good work. Remember that regardless of what you may read in the press, or hear from some lilly livered, cut and run congressmen, the vast majority of patriotic Americans are behind you 100%. And I for one am eternally grateful for what you're doing. God Bless!
