right now i would place it at the mineral site then as the season gets closer the trails to try to pattern the deer.
try to place it facing either north or south. place it on a large enought tree where you don't get a lot of wind movement on the tree as this will cause false movement and snap a pic.
I put mine at about 3 feet high with a very slight angle downward. the less sky you have in the pic the better.
can't think of anything else to tell you right now--good luck!
it is a lot of fun and you can't beat that price.
