I finally broke down and subscribed to Rush 24/7. Now that I can take my distance learning course at the Limbaugh institute for Advanced Conservative Studies...

I'm just wondering if anyone else subscribes...

Gotta love it!!!

Nope I don't subscribe. I used to get his newsletter about 10 years ago but I couldn't get into it.

I listen to him ocassionally if I'm in my truck when he's on. I think his message is dead nuts on, but I find his style irritating. If you can separate the message from the messenger, he's got plenty of good insight into today's politics. And no, I'm not a subscriber to Rush 24/7.

BTW markyj987, Paul Molitor is one of my heroes too!

It's a tossup between who I can't stand more, Limbaugh or Sean Hannity. Actually, I don't mind Rush, but I swear I want to smack Hannity every time I see him.

Texan--As a little kid back when the Brewers went to the World Series in '82, Molitor, Yount, Gantner, Gorman Thomas, Cecil Cooper--they were all heroes of mine, but the Ignitor--Molitor--was always my favorite.

I was fortunate to see his last home game as a Milwaukee Brewer. Though I don't remember much of the game, I still have the ticket stub which has been autographed.

Anyway, not only is Paul Molitor a great man, but he was probably the best pure hitter in MLB history-by pure hitter, I mean this guy approached every at back in a text-book manner--a hitting coach's dream! I can't stand most of the atheletes these days as far as role models go, but I was certainly fortunate to have the sports heroes I did when I was younger--though none of them ever came close to my dad!

Anyway, anyone that DOES like Rush and is pressed for time might want to look into Rush 24/7. When I was 15 or 16 a friend of my parents introduced me to Rush's TV show, got me interested in--and signed me up for the Marquette Co. Republican Party---and I was thrilled to attend a Lincoln Day Dinner with my state assemblyman (Ben Brancel), state senator (Joe Leean), the then-lieutenant governor (Scott McCallum), and the county's DA.

Regardless of the background, my political outlook was really fostered by this guy and many of the awesome local guys we have (Charlie Sykes, the REAL author of the "Eight Simple Rules for Dating my Daughter", former US Prosecutor and WI Atty General candidate Jeff Wagner, and Mark Belling, who fills in for Rush from time to time.)

One of the best thing about the subscription is you can play streams from his old TV show which are absolutely hilarious!

That was a good show! I really do like limbaugh. I think he's brilliant. Oh, how the dems must hate him. Talk about a thorn in your side. He's always there making them accountable. He says a couple things I disagree with but they are minor, most of the time I agree wholeheartedly.
