all right guys got a bit of a question why do we vote for president if the electorial college truly elects the president i mean every one tells me if i dont vote then i dont have an opinon on the subject but since im only 17 and cannot vote it dont matter but why do we vote for nothing. thanks for your opinons

Don't take it personal, but you really should already have the answer to that. I take it you attend a public school somewhere? Apparently they neglected to teach that in Government. Again, that's an indictment of our public school system, not a dig on you.
