Hastert will not run for the minority leader....good, he sucked and I am a publican.

I think that Frist, Boehner, and all of the other leadership should step aside for some new faces. Some Conservative faces.

The current leadership is way too tainted for 2008...ger rid of them all and the dems won't have any red herrings to hang albatrosses on.

From what I am hearing, Frist is possibly looking to make a run for the White House in 08. Bob Corker took Frists open seat here in TN.

Between First and McCain, of the two if they were my choices, I really honestly think I would prefer Frist. As for your other post in the other thread about Hastert and First and what went on with what who knew, I really dont know anything more than what the media and the dems are saying as far as the accusations they made. You really think I believe what they want me too????

I agree...I am almost anyone but McCain. He looks like a ferret weasel and acts like one too!

As for Frist and Hastert, they are going to have this loss hung around their necks and will probably never recover to take leadership again. As one commentator put it, "they should just go away".
