The one that calls them in. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I have no one favorite anymore. It was left somewhere in the woods. Just the thought of it brings a tear http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
It was a old slate call.

Pot calls, either in glass, slate, or composite surfaced, followed by mouth calls (Knight & Hale), then some box calls. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Any of the slate calls I chose to use. It really doesn't matter which one since I usually switch calls or strikers whenever I relocate, if I have to that is. I'm also prone to use more than one slate and/or stiker at a setup to try to sound like more than one hen too.

usually i use a slate to get them fairly close then use my mouth call for close in work, but i just bought a primos box cutter model number 243 single sided box call. It sounds as close to the real deal as i have ever heard

Vote #2 for Williams Custom Calls made by Alex Williams. His pot calls are not only beautiful works of art, but also have alot of turkey trapped in each one of them. And as with most custom call makers...100% satisfaction guaranteed!

I like woodhaven
Single Wing and Sadler McGraw are my 2 favorite mouth calls on gods green earth.
As for strike calls im making a glass call in memory of my late father to use this year. Stuff should be here tomorow and im also making 5 more to give to my groomsmen in my wedding in June, my buddy gave me that Idea.
Also all the redhead calls. A little known fact. Primos, I have been told, makes them for us. I bought the Sassafras and Walnut box for this year and a cutter. I havent been able to cut on a call any better than with that cutter and that box sounds awesome. I bought it mainly for my higher discount on our products just like I did with my turkey vest. I have been amazingly suprised with all of them. Great products. I might even be gettin a new set of arrows this year at this rate haha.

I just go out to the woods and start saying "Here turkey, turkey, turkey" Just kidding, I religously use Preston Pittmans Black diamond, and an assortment of slates, box calls, turkey wings (not a yelper but the actuall wings with feathers) I never leave the house without my set of wings.

I like to use my H.S. Strut 360 SL slate, to put on the final touches with some sweet yelps and purrs. I've come love using the "Mini Mag" mouth call by Quaker Boy,for the past 2 years.
