we were fishing in our crick at our farm this summer and i snagged sumpin. i started to reel it in and a couple tines oppoed up above the water.........i went into the water with my cousin and we pulled out a very rotted deer caracas with a 19 POINT RACK! if it had been shot in season, it deffinately would of been a B&C World Record Buck. we dont know what had happend to the deer or how it had died, we suspect poaching by the neighborsw but are unsure. the body was to mutilated to find any possible sign of an entrence or exit hole, or the bullets pathway....we would guess that it had been dead for 3 to 4 months the rack now hangs on out mantle of our fire place at our cabin! it is an awesome rack and to bad it had to be wsted because you would of gotten a lot of meat off of it!

I've got a cabin on top of Mount Sunflower here in Kansas. Over the mantle is the rack off of a 300" typical I found while hand fishing for badgers in their holes. BUT I don't have pics because my story isnt' true.

Any hole I see in the woods tends to belong to a critter and sticking ones hand in there is just asking for a trip to the ER.

Down to 2 fingers now on the right hand, but as long as I keep that opposible thumb it's a fair fight. Did I say 300" typical? I meant 325" :-) Once again NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
