View Full Version : Turkeys
Had some turkeys in the yard this morning early for the second time. They were in the yard yesturday for the first time, but we were not home. Pretty cool. Pic is not very good, as it was pretty much dark still and foggy. Hope they stick around until spring. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You know if they do stick around until spring, you won't get picked for a turkey tag! LOL I see them ALL over the place now....I think it is time Maine starts thinking about an open season on them.

I wish I had turkeys anywhere close to my place! Very cool. Maybe they will hang close man!

You can apply for the online lottery for turkey permits right now, so maybe they will be doing it in 2006? I hadn't heard anything about it, but there are so many of them now, that it is a good time to start!

Get a few turkeys in the yard here from time to time. They hide real good come spring though.
