RyanH's Prayer Request

For those of you who know RyanH, and even for those of you who don't know him, please pray for him.. He posted the following in a bulletin on Myspace and asked me to put this up here on the forums. His brother needs all the help he can get and maybe, just maybe, our prayers will help him see the way.

Guys tomorrow will be a tough day for my family.

Little about my brother! He has been a low life since he was 16 years old. He was discharged from the navy when we was 21. Since then he has has 3 kids with two ladies and has nothing to do with any of them. He has been in and out of jail all his life for theft, drugs, you name it.

Here is what I need your prayers for. He has left from California today on a bus. He will be arriving here in OKC at 4:30 tomorrow then gets on another bus from OKC to New York. We have 30 minutes to convince him to stay here and left us give him our love and support to get his life on track. Even though he has done many bad things in life, we still love him. We want him to be a part of this family and want him to live the rest of his life clean and happy. He always talks about coming home cause he misses us. Guys please just pray for us. We hope that god can make this trip and change of his life forever in a good way. We want to see him have a relationship with god, his family and his kids.

We have see him one time for 2 days in 8 years. Guys please im opening my heart to you all. Please pray!

Here is an UPDATE...

Folks after a long restless night last night and a long day waiting to see my brother. The time finally came at 4:37 pm. He stepped off the bus and my family swamped him with hugs. Telling him how much we loved him. Tears came to all our eyes. After a couple minutes we took him over underneath a tree and just was talking.

He then opened a can of worms saying I wish I could stay. We then gave him the offer of staying. We offered that he needed to be dead set on making a change for his life! We told him about a program called YOU TURN FOR CHIRST. Before the we could even tell him about it he said sign me up! Im ready.

Guys I cant thank you all for the prayers you have giving our family. You guys are the best. Right now my brother is in the bathroom taking a shower.

So this week my brother will be going to Enid, Oklahoma for a 120 day program with YOU TURN TO CHIRST.

Folks once again I just cant thank you all enough!

I will continue to pray that the Lord opens his eyes, ears and heart to his love and grace and also put a few of his servants in your and your brother's life, to be his friend in any time of need.

Finn I can understand your thoughts and I am sure that crossed many peoples minds when they saw this. No matter if he is looking for attention or not I feel like I should Pray on it. If he was looking for attention then shame on........he will have to be the one that answers for it not me.
