We eat em' here. They taste good. Its been years so to try and describe the flavor would be tough, but over the years as a kids we ate a lot of them. Also called varying hares....btw. http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

After hunting and getting ready to feed on some rabbits I like to take the bones with skin on them and boil the skin and bones for several hours until the skin comes off and then fix it up in some spicy gumbo

They are great-you can coat the legs and prepare themlike hot wings or add tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, etc and cook them in a slow cooker-yumyum. Why shoot them if your not gonna eat them lol.
