My Custom Box Call

I won a box call several years ago and I thought I would share a few pics. It was custom made to my specs. The base is white oak, box is Spalted Sycamore, lid is Purple Heard and it has Spalted Sycamore and Purple Heart Inlays. It was made by prairie game calls.

Here is another one of my custom calls. I traded the guy some traps for him to make me this. Forgot the type of wood, just know he hand made it.

Sycamore sure does make a purty boxcall side. It plays really well with purpleheart, too.

The wood in your slate call is mahogany, I believe.
