That is suprisingly good. What brand of batteries are you using? Have you tried other brands?

doesn't get that cold here I have been getting about 2 to 3 weeks with my batteries in night time temps in 20's to 30's. in the summer I have been getting over a month.

I know that batteries will freeze if it gets low enough for long enough but do not have the info on what temps and for how long.
I know for sure you can freeze and reset Ni Cad batteries this way. In only 48 hours in your freezer.

Do they make Lithium AA sized bateries? Lithium seems to last forever and temp does not effect them.
