Dick's Sporting Goods Outdoor Tour Schedule

Hey Tim, do you know why you're scheduled for the Dick's Sporting Goods Outdoor Adventure Hunting Tour here in Albany for Oct. 11th and 12th when the event is being held on Sept. 27th and 28th? Is there another event going on here too?

I dont know Its supposed to be at the Crossgates mall area . Those were the dates given to me . Ill check with Erin tommorow

Well I picked up a flyer today and it said the earlier date, so I'm not sure. Yes it's at the Dick's Sporting Goods located in the Crossgates mall. I'd hate for you to show up and have the same thing happen when at Gander Mountain in Henrietta a while back. lol

Well I cant make the earlier date , Im slated for that weekend ( took vacation time) so I should be going. Ill let you know. I checked the website and it said those earler dates . Maybe doing another weekend of it?

Its a mistake on Dicks! I checked with Erin and they changed the dates and neglected to tell Realtree . Some of the other tour dates are wrong as well. If your going to any of theses Events be sure and check before you go. Im not sure what Im doing that weekend now. Erin is working on it So ill keep you posted

So I went to the Dick's Sporting Goods Outdoor Adventure Hunting Tour Event today at the mall. I didn't get to see Tim Andrus due to the schedule mix up, however I did get to meet and talk to Realtree Pro Mike Wheeler. He had a bunch of his buck mounts on display that were ridiculously big. He also had sheds he found this year of a buck that is still alive. Half way up the main beam I still couldn't put my hand around it fully. It was a cool sight to see. Next year I'll have to think about signing up on his list to hunt on one of his leases in KS or somewhere else, because that got me fired up! I can't wait until the southern zone NY season opens in a couple weeks.

Dicks changed up a bunch of the schedules for their weekend, leaving many of the pro scrambling to change plans. I know I had to change my plans for the big flats store
