Hey yall,
I'm thinking of getting a deer camera this year, i really want to see what gets into my plots. Does anyone own one an how does it do. Does anyone know how to make a homemade gizmo, something that is cheap? That would be great. Thanks

I'd say for the money, the Stealth Cam is awesome! Takes real good pics and the cost is low compared to the others out there.
If your wanting to try this then go that way 1st.
Build your own, it is easy to do and you can save yourself some money http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. I have build about 10 so far for me and my cousins. The total cost just depends on how fancy you get with your setup, but mine cost about $60 bucks to put together

Yeah Gus! Give us the skiny or fatty on the building of these! LOL Can a digital camera be used for this also? http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
There are alot of different ways to build them, you just have to figure out what you want. Yes, you can build a digital cam, I have yet to do one, but I am going to build at least one someday.

I'll have to second the trail timer photo hunter. I think it's better than the stealth cam. It seems like I hear so many compaints about the stealth cam. I haven't had any problems with my photo hunter.
