United Airlines Employees

United is currently trying to save itself from bankruptcy (again) and asked the mechanic's union for concessions. The union said no, and if we don't get pay increases we're going to strike.

Seems kinda shortsighted on the union's part to risk sending their employer over the edge and losing their jobs permanently.

OK - everybody have at it. I'm outa here until Monday...

The union officers will not be affected by any of this. They could care less.

The working stiff is really going down the wrong path if they vote to strike. That will be the end of United and then where are the jobs! Not too smart a move!!!

Yep, those workers supporting the strike might strike themselves right out of a job. Does not seem like such a great idea to me.
