Of course, they're all blaming each other. They
can't blame Republicans because there aren't any.
This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois . And he's going to '"fix" Washington politics for us?

Just as an interesting side note - Texas is projected to have a several billion dollar budget surplus this year. And Texas has exactly zero democrats elected to statewide office. Plus, both houses of the state legislature have been heavily republican for many years. Coincidence?

292 murders in 6 months in one city?! :eek: I just checked our stats for 2007, 594 murders in all of Canada in one year! That is crazy. Glad I don't live in Chicago (no offense to anyone that does on these forums, don't think there's any though).

well, you sure did, jim. and they got what they wished for. in 3 years all we need to ask ourselves is "are you better off now than in the bush years". the dems control the presidency, the house and the senate. but they will still blame bush even 3 years from now.

Most of us Illinoisians outside of Chicago know that nothing good goes on up there with politics. It's a shame what politics in our state are like.

Our state sadly is controlled by Chicago. Down state usually votes republican.
