OK folks, the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing for Obama's choice for Attorney General is scheduled for Jan15. If you're like me and think that Eric Holder is unfit to be Attorney General, you should contact your U.S. Senators TODAY or TOMORROW and voice your concern.

Why do I think Eric Holder is unfit?

1. He's staunchly anti 2nd Amendment
2. He's for affirmative action
3. He's against "racial profiling" as an anti-terrorism tool
4. He supports closing Guantanamo Bay and moving the terrorists there into the U.S. Judicial system
5. He supports Miranda Rights for suspected terrorists caught by our military overseas
6. He believes the death penalty is "racial"
7. He secured pardons from President Clinton for 16 Puerto Rican terrorists and 2 Weather Underground terrorists who were buddies with William Ayers
8. He supports so called "hate crimes" legislation
9. He helped design Clinton's 1999 initiative to declare an "all out war on guns."
10. He suggested immediately after 9/11 that the best way to combat international terrorism was to shut down gun shows and restrict private firearm transactions between individuals

If you're from Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Utah, Wisconsin, Iowa, California, Arizona, Alabama, New York, South Carolina, Illinois, Texas, Maryland, Kansas, Rhode Island or Oklahoma you have a senator on the Judiciary Committee. Any ONE of these senators can block the nomination by putting a hold on the nominee. If you want to make a difference, contact your senators here (http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm?OrderBy=state&Sort=ASC) and let them know that you stuanchly OPPOSE Eric Holder for Attorney General. Even if you're from a state that doesn't have a senator on the Judiciary Committee, it is still vital that you contact your senators and let them know how you feel. Its possible that we can stop this nomination in the full Senate, but killing it in the committee would be much better.

Thank you constitutionalists.

Might be good to move the terrorists to the US prison system...many of our fine inmates serving life sentences would just love to whack a few terrorists.

Thanks for posting this Mike. For what it is worth, I think Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker both will be opposed to Holder as Attorney General and they are not on the judiciary comittee, but I will still continue to let them know my thoughts, and for convenience I did use your message from this thread as it fit perfectly and was probably worded better than I could have worded it http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81366.

In regards to President-elect Obama's nomination of Eric Holder for Attorney General, I strongly urge you to oppose this appointment. I consider Mr Holder to be wholly unfit for this position based on his past actions while employed in the Clinton White House. I will monitor the confirmation process closely and expect to see your vote in the "NAYs" column. Thank you for your time.

i'd like to see each and every obama appointment slide through unopposed. the "give him enough rope" syndrome. i want obama to do what he thinks is right. now, if we're attacked, it will be in a big city like new york or d.c. in either case, we'll lose lots of liberals and they can't blame anyone but themselves. and i'm quite sure we will see some major attacks on our soil. it's a hard nosed approach, but we need the liberals to wake up. we may see israel fall also. good. 86% of the jews voted obama. they killed their own so let them pay. and let's not forget that obama said he's comfortable with $12.00 a gallon gas.

what i'm really saying is that america needs a reality check, and i think we're about to get one. a harsh one. yet, the americans left will rise and fight, and liberals will tuck their tails and run. good
