Maybe its just me... but this irritates me. I have been trying to be open minded about the next 4 years we have to go through, and I turn on the TV and the first thing I hear is that Barack Obama had his first TV interview.... with Al-Arabiya TV's reporter Hisham Melhem.

This ticks me off! You think he would be a bit more grateful to the American public and at least with 1 week in office make a tv appearance on CNN or Fox News, MSNBC, or something..... but NOOOOO..... right to Arab owned television.
I don't care the reason, I don't care the topics....it just seems awful ungrateful to not make a 5 minute interview with an American owned news channel before granting one to the Arabs.:mad::mad:

You are not the only one. This is a freaking disgrace. I thought Obama was a lot smarter than that.

look, obama is sympathetic to the muslims. don't be so surprised. he's also a socialist, and wants us to be just like england, new zealand, canada, australia, and the rest of the socialized world. even though there is not a socialist country in the world doing well, the first thing he tells the nation is that "only government can get us out of the mess we're in". bull. only a free market will. he's going down the very same path as the '30's, and we all know how that turned out. our recession will soon be a full blown depression, imho, and it will all be bush's fault. that's what i expect, but i do have hope, and i will keep an open mind to future things he says. and i do wish him (us) well.
what i really think here is that we have a nieve, wanna do good person with no experience. another jimmy carter. tried to do well, but history tells us it was the worst economic time in our history. little jimmy may just slip into "second worst" economic president of all time. but i "hope" not, and we don't need that type of "change".

Saw part of the interview, shame Obama was not so open with what he shared in regards to his growing up before he was elected.

As far as I can tell, during his first week in office, President Obama has made the pro-abortion people, the anti-Gitmo people, the Russians, and the Middle East, especially Iran, very happy.
I'm still waiting for his first action that I can say I approve of.

For me that will be in four years when he steps out of office.

SURELY over the course of four years he'll do something worthwhile for the country. I'm at least holding out hope that he'll set an example that will have black youths all over the country pulling up their pants and wearing belts.

what? william, you watch the wrong news. he was with wolf blitzer in october and mentioned his strong muslim beliefs. wolf said "you mean your christian beliefs?" and obama replies "yes, christian beliefs". we know he went to muslim schools until he was 9. go figgure. but remember, it was "inappropriate" to use his middle name during the campaign. it was only after his election that he started using the "hussain" in his name. your news media is scamming you, for sure. you need a "change".;):D

Nope Steve, I just meant it seemed Obama was more open with talking about it from what little I saw of that interview.
