Could not agree more. Afraid we can only hope that at the end of that ride, that the crash is not a totalling out and that there is enough left to salvage.

I hate to say it but by being unemployed I am riding in the wagon. Nothing but a bum:(

Don't get me wrong this is not sarcasm. Just a fact and I am glad there is unemployment benefits. I believe that as part of the "spending bill" just passed there will not be federal taxes on the 1st $2400 of it.:eek:

I feel the same way. At least I am eligible to go after some training. For what I don't know. That tax thing is nothing but feel good legislation. No tax for a month and a half of unemployment. Guaranteed they will make up the difference somewhere. Don't save any, because they will tax that, too...

My wife has a very good Government Job, so she'll be "pulling" for the both of us.:D

After the election of Barack O'Bama, I have............"spit my bit"........."slipped my harness"..........and "threw a shoe" ........all at the same time.

You can refer to me as a non-participant in the social-economic environment that will be taking place over the next few years. This current administration has turned me from a law abiding citizen into a tax evader.........................wish me well. I believe we've got it covered.

sorry, nut, but you are WAY off base here. you are not a bum. when you worked, you paid into a system of unemployment. you are now unwillingly taking your insurance benefits until you can work again. this is not cheating the system, this is living by it's rules until you can work again. most folks don't want to work, and those are the bums. ;)
