Too bad most of them are does and fawns. The fawns around here are almost done losing their spots. The bucks haven't been showing much this past week.

Hopefully they start chopping corn this week - that always brings em around..

Very nice pictures! The spike is cool! What size of lense do you have or do you use a spotting scope?

Good catch Wooly - I noticed that too and it is the same deer. This pic came about a mile and a half from where I got the velvet pic of him.

Stonecold - these were taken with a Nikon D300 and a 200-400 lens.

Nice camera! I have the Sony DSLR-a350K with two lenses but the best one is a 75-300mm. Them bigger lenses are nice!

Beautiful photos as always...how do you do it!? lol

That is the most symetrical spike I've seen this year,lol...around here there are little scrub bucks with random little points.
