Well, as soon as the olive oil injected nightcrawler hit the bottom of the river it got hit. I thought I had found the magic potion. However, the clouds we had counted on to cover the almost full moon did NOT hang around long enough. We had no luck after that. Besides, it was in the mid 30's and it was gettin' kinda miserable. We tried the same thing the next day on bush hooks and caught 20. ( Including a few goggle-eyes and stripers) Not gonna say that it's the best method, but I'm gonna give it another try when it warms up a bit.
